Art Class – (Grades K-5)

Session meets Wednesdays starting March 17th through April 28th (NO CLASS March 31st).

Time: 4:00pm-5:30pm

During these 6 weeks art class, children will learn the art history and techniques from around the world. Every week at the end of the class, children will create a masterpiece.

Projects will include:

• Easter Egg painting
• Bunny pop tart house building
• Disney inspired painting
• Salt dough starfish garland
• Bean project
• Carnival game DIY

Class Experience

This is a beginners level art class. Students will learn many different skills and understand how to use a variety of art materials. Elements of art and principals of design will be incorporated in the lessons and the children will discover where and when to apply them. Each week, a new lesson will be taught and the art mediums will vary. At the end of each class, the completed artwork will showcase what the child has learned!

The lessons will be presented and taught in an order that really capitalizes on how children learn and how they can build upon what they’ve learned in the previous weeks. We’ve designed each lesson to include a bit of science, history, and literature, which is all age appropriate and developmentally suitable.

Classes are held indoors. If weather permits, we do all possible to hold the classes outdoors. Kids need to wear masks at all times and don’t share any materials.

Make ups are allowed at any time when available. Classes will be all virtual if we are forced to close up our doors again.
