Session meets Tuesdays starting March 22nd through April 12th. Time: 4:00pm-5:30pm Ever wonder how gluten forms (or even what it is)? Do you know the difference between herbs and spices? During this 4 week program, students will learn this and much more as they explore real world science in the kitchen. They’ll make dishes such as pesto grilled cheese and cupcakes while discovering basic principles of chemistry and botany. Kids will gain independence in the kitchen by practicing skills like following a recipe and cooking on their own stovetop, as well as measuring, cutting, and learning how to season a dish. They’ll also learn the “why” behind what they’re making through interactive, hands-on experiments. $175 per session (Included all materials). Classes will be held outdoors, weather permitting. For inclement weather, classes will be held indoors. Please be sure to send your child with a mask as they will be required for indoor activity. Make ups are allowed at any time when available.
