Princess birthday instructions

Place the enclosed table cloth down to protect your work surface.

For the painting:

Your stencil may be already attached to your white canvas. Before you start painting, make sure your stencil is stuck down well. To ensure clean lines, you can do a light layer of white paint over the edges of the stencil. This will help you get crisp lines.

Once you have made sure the stencil is attached, you can use the included sponges to lightly apply paint all over the canvas. Cover all the edges of the stencil with paint, don’t leave any white space around the stencil.

Once you finish painting your canvas, remove the stencil using a toothpick while the paint is still a little wet.

For the jewelry box:

Paint all sides and top of the box. You may need more than one layer of paint. Wait until the paint is dry before you start the second layer.

Once the paint is dry, you are ready to decorate it! Use the enclosed patches and decorations to personalize your jewelry box. If you use glue, let the glue dry for about an hour before storing items in the box.

To make the necklace, choose the beads you want to use  and set aside.

Measure the length of your necklace with the included leather cord. Cut the leather cord with the included scissors leaving about 4 inches extra on each side.

Start threading the beads into the leather cord. Depending on your design, you can make a knot in between beads or every few beads. When finished with your design, make a bowline knot on one of the ends of your necklace (look at instructions bellow on how to make a bowline knot) and make 3 regular knots in the other end to form a ball.

You have enough cord for about 4 necklaces or bracelets!
