This is a project based learning experience where the kids will be learning hands on through different activities that will keep them engaged. This week is a repeat from last year because it had so much success. Kids will learn what it takes to succeed in our global new age economy\, equipping them with the success skills they need\, and setting them in the right direction for understanding entrepreneurship at a young age. Kids will learn first hand from local entrepreneurs with different backgrounds like bakers\, health instructors and shop owners. Kids will visit a local business every day while they develop a business that will be presented on Thursday. LITTLE SCIENTISTS WILL THROW ON THEIR LAB COATS AND COOK UP A CHEMISTRY CAKE\, TURN MILK INTO PLASTIC AND LEARN ABOUT THE PHASES OF THE MOON THROUGH KID’S FAVORITE TREATS\, OREOS! \nDates: August 5th – August 8th\nMorning Session: 9:00am-12:00pm PURPLE COW BAKING CAMP – REGISTER HERE\nAfternoon Session: 12:30pm-3:30pm\nLocation – Creative Twist Events – 10 Pearl St\, Metuchen NJ 08840 \nActivities include: Chemistry Cake\, Race car DIY and race competition\, slime\, Oobleck and much more! \nCamp Pricing\n$295 per session (afternoon only week 5)\n10% off if you sign up before Feb 15th\n10% off if you sign up for more than 3 weeks at once.\n10% off if you sign up for Purple Cow Cakery Camp Morning session in the same week (you’ll get a code after you sign up on Purple Cow Camp). \nCamp Details\nFor rising Kindergarteners and up.\nCamp runs Monday through Thursday\nPlease pack a change of clothes and water for your camper.\nKids staying for full days should pack a lunch and a drink. \nWe have merged the two worlds of cooking/baking and Art!\nKids will explore the weekly themes with creative recipes while learning basic kitchen skills like measuring\, science in the kitchen\, the use of the stove top\, mixing ingredients and their reaction and much more! Kids will combine their ingredients in an imaginative and creative way so they can grow\, learn and feel confident in the kitchen. We will also explore art through painting\, drawing\, sculpting\, crafting & tie-dying. We will explore different art mediums\, create art from found items\, learn and paint with watercolors and acrylics and explore different drawing techniques. \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION\nOur programs are packed with a diverse range of activities and delectable recipes that promise an unforgettable summer. \nIn the spirit of flexibility\, we’ve designed our camps to seamlessly adapt to the unique constraints of our space and the ever-changing weather.
