A Bridgerton inspired affair to celebrate a beautiful bride! It was a celebration that combined romantic floral arrangements, vintage décor, and thoughtful personal touches that created a truly memorable event.
The Overall Aesthetic
The creative vision was brought to life by Pretty Penny Event Design, who seamlessly designed, planned and coordinated all aspects of the event to ensure that every detail exuded timeless beauty and grace.
Florals
We Do Event Design crafted the stunning florals and backdrop wall that set the perfect stage for both the event and photo opportunities. Lush greenery and delicate pastel blooms, artfully arranged on the backdrop and around the vintage seating, added a whimsical yet classic touch to the setting.
Bloom Bar
We created a Bloom bar with the bride’s favorite blooms. The guests built their own bouquet from an array of fresh blooms in soft hues. From baby’s breath to elegant hydrangeas, roses and ranunculus, the setup invited everyone to channel their inner florist and take home a piece of the event.
Cake and Treats
Sweet treats were provided by two incredible vendors. The cake, a beautifully designed creation from Kelsey’s Kreations, sat as a centerpiece, combining aesthetic beauty with delicious flavor. Additionally, Trina’s Treats supplied an array of delicate desserts, including decorated macarons and cake pops, displayed on vintage platters that perfectly matched the event’s aesthetic. These sweets added an extra layer of charm to the overall experience.
Games
Our new favorite game is “design a wedding dress” game. The guests were given a box (one per table) with all of the materials to create their own design. All of the guests at each table were able to contribute to the creation and the bride chose her favorite at the end.
Live Poetry
The Poetry Society of NY was in house creating beautiful, custom poems, adding a literary and heartfelt element to the day.
A special touch to this bridal shower was the incorporation of personal and vintage elements. The seating area, arranged by the mother of the bride, provided an intimate and cozy space with soft upholstery and floral accents. A vintage typewriter, supplied by Lilac and Lace Co. added to the charm of the day.
