CTE – Summer Camp 2024 – Week 6 – SHARK TANK JUNIOR: ENTREPRENEURIAL ACADEMY
Children will gain the necessary success skills to set them on the path of becoming our future entrepreneurs. This is a project based learning experience where the kids will be learning hands on through different activities that will keep them engaged. This week is a repeat from last year because it had so much success. Kids will learn what it takes to succeed in our global new age economy, equipping them with the success skills they need, and setting them in the right direction for understanding entrepreneurship at a young age. Kids will learn first hand from local entrepreneurs with different backgrounds like bakers, health instructors and shop owners. Kids will visit a local business every day while they develop a business that will be presented on Thursday. Kids will be paired up based on their skill and age.
Dates: August 12th – August 15th
Morning Session: 9:00am-12:00pm
Afternoon Session: 12:30pm-3:30pm

Activities include: Blueberry Muffins, Sugar Cookies and Homemade Icing, Fresh Pasta and Sauce, Idea creation, Poster making, Booth design and so much more!
Downtown businesses visits include: PASTRY LU BAKERY, KING STRENGTH PERFORMANCE, CLICKS & BRICKS, BREWED AWAKENING, AWESOMEYO’S, NEWMARKET & ROSE & ROOT.
The kids will create a product Idea, develop a business plan (kids version), design a booth and sell their product first hand at a retail shop. Parents will be invited to come to see the booths where kids will be presenting. This Week CTE Camp will take trips to visit local entrepreneurs!

Camp Details
For rising Kindergarteners and up.
Camp runs Monday through Thursday
Please pack a change of clothes and water for your camper.
Kids staying for full days should pack a lunch and a drink.
We have merged the two worlds of cooking/baking and Art!
Kids will explore the weekly themes with creative recipes while learning basic kitchen skills like measuring, science in the kitchen, the use of the stove top, mixing ingredients and their reaction and much more! Kids will combine their ingredients in an imaginative and creative way so they can grow, learn and feel confident in the kitchen. We will also explore art through painting, drawing, sculpting, crafting & tie-dying. We will explore different art mediums, create art from found items, learn and paint with watercolors and acrylics and explore different drawing techniques.
