Join us for a lantern making workshop led by artist Julia Virginia Win in celebration of Lunar New Year 2025.
Participants will make lanterns from recycled plastic milk and water jugs to take lanterns home and share with their families for the holidays.
We will have two one-hour sessions:
-Saturday, January 18th at 10 AM (geared toward children 6 and up)
-Saturday January 18th at 11:15 AM (geared toward adults).
Workshop will take place at Creative Twist Events, 10 Pearl Street, Metuchen NJ 08840.
All children to be accompanied by an adult.
Registration required. If available, please bring clean plastic mild and water jugs with handles and caps; other supplies will be provided.
We encourage guests visit Peterson park to view the larger dragon lantern installation by artist Julia Virginia Win which will be displayed from 01/20/25 to 02/22/2025 as part of the Downtown Lunar new year Celebration with outdoor festivities on February 1st 2025.
