Advanced Baking and Cake Decorating
All Cakes Everyday All Week Long – Rising 6th graders and up
Week of June 22 – Monday thru Thursday – 9.30a-3.30p
This full day camp is recommended for serious bakers who have attended a baking camp previously or are already familiar with baking and cake decorating. We will be focused on cakes from day 1. Each day your young baker will be baking, filling, stacking and decorating a cake. All cakes will be made from scratch along with the fillings and buttercream. We will be working with both buttercream and fondant for various cake decorating effects. Bakers will have the opportunity to make drip cakes, ombre cakes, confetti cakes, rosette cakes and a celebration cake of their own design. all recipes are new from week to week and summer to summer. Your baker will need to bring an apron, water bottle, lunch and a cake carrier to bring their delicious masterpieces home. Everything else will be provided for your baker. Early drop-off is possible if needed. Please call to make arrangements.
Registration: Register online www.purplecowcakery.com/workshop. Or call 917-301-7538 to register by phone. All camps are limited to 12 participants and include instructor, Nicole Contursi and at least one kitchen assistant. All camps are filled on a first come, first served basis and require a minimum of 8 campers. Camps may be canceled due to under-enrollment. In the event a camp is canceled, a full refund will be issued. Please read our allergy notice prior to registration.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be made at least one calendar month before the first day of your child’s camp. No exceptions will be made. No refunds, credits, or camp rescheduling will be allowed for cancellations made after this time. Cancellations made at least one month prior to the camp will be refunded minus a $75 cancellation fee.
Allergy Notice: This is a professional kitchen and is NOT an allergy safe environment. All our recipes are nut free, however, nuts and other allergens have been used in the kitchen we will be utilizing. If your child has food allergies, please call us to discuss prior to registering for class at 917-301-7538. Special Needs: Please let us know of any special needs your child may have at the time of registration. Special accommodations can only be made (allergies, vegetarians, etc.) with a minimum of six weeks notice to allow us to plan.
